- Spending time with friends and family
- Reading a book
- Getting a massage
- Catching up with Facebook friends
- Playing computer games
- Watching all of the Twilight movies

 When I hear someone say they hate Christmas, I almost feel bad for them. I have so many fond memories of past Christmases that I can't wait to share with my child. One memory in particular always makes me giggle to myself. When I was a kid I was always so excited to find out what gifts I got for Christmas that I never waited until Christmas Day to open my gifts. When I was alone I would tear off an inconspicuous piece of wrapping paper so I could get a sneak peak at my gifts. Awful, right? What can I say? I was a curious and impatient child. My family was also big on decorating the Christmas tree. It was an event in our house. Every year my mother would display our newly handmade ornaments we made along with our past creations on the tree, and every year we would argue about putting too many ornaments on the tree. When I was in my own home I remember thinking my tree never looked quite right with all the new, store-bought ornaments, but now that I have a child of my own we are slowly getting there. I still marvel at my mother's tree and enjoy the memories it brings. It's a great tradition I now get to enjoy with my family.
Christmas isn't just about giving and receiving gifts. It's about family, friends, and loved ones. Don't just give gifts because that's what you've been taught to do. Give gifts to celebrate your family, your friends, and your loved ones. Give gifts to celebrate life and love. This is the time to show appreciation to those who are never told they are appreciated. It's the perfect time to make memories that will last a lifetime. It's a time to be at peace and be happy. I would like to thank everyone for all your questions, input, and support of Queen City Concierge. It has always been a passion of mine to assist others in any way I can and a dream to make Queen City Concierge happen in the town I grew up in. I have traveled all over the world and believe Sioux Falls is the best place to live, work, and raise a family. I believe Sioux Falls is this way because of all the hard work and love the people who live here put back into thier community. I thank you again for your support and I take every comment to heart.  Flowers are among the most popular ways to show your Valentine that you care. However, those bouquets can come with a big price tag and may only last a few days. To help keep your blooms looking fresh, the most important thing to do is to make a fresh cut on the stems right away and then again every couple of days. By cutting at an angle about ½-inch up the stem, you'll let as much water in as possible to keep the flower hydrated. Those packets of fresh flower food will also help extend the life of your bouquet. |
